I was searching for one of these in November 2005 and did a lot of research as to who was the cheapest. After shopping around previously for the ipod photo 60gb and making the big mistake of ordering from a company called mydv who it turned out were not a UK based company as suggested on their website. I decided to find a UK based company that were offering good deal on a cheap ipod nano
UPDATED
Apple's pricing policy doesn't really enable people to get any great deals on nano's. Therefore I would suggest rather than shopping around any further to save a maximum of a couple of quid, you should buy it from the Apple Store for £139 incl shipping and get it engraved for free.
At this stage, I was undecided as to whether I wanted a cheap 2gb ipod nano or a cheap 4gb ipod nano. Either way, I came across a website that seems to be renowned for offering good deals on all electrical products. They were cheaper than anyone else I could find in the UK. The 2gb one came in at £132.30 incl VAT and the 4gb one at £179 incl VAT. At last I had found a cheap ipod nano. Delivery was quick and I could use the itrip I had previously bought with this too. Some might say I was greedy having 2 ipods, but one if for the car and the other is for the gym.
Anyways, here is a banner link to the website
